Dr Brookes is on parental leave until May 2023

Dr Brookes, originally from Shropshire, graduated from the University of Manchester in 2011. He completed his foundation training in Manchester and GP training in London. He became a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2017.

He has a Diploma in Child Health from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.

He has worked as a pitch side doctor for a local rugby team and has completed the RUFC Pre-hospital Immediate Care in Sport (Level 2) course.

He recently returned to Liverpool after working in Australia for one year. Prior to this he worked in London and Liverpool.

Dr Brookes lives locally. He enjoys cycling, triathlon and playing the guitar.
